ADMISSION
Your admission into the Integrated Medicine & Nutrition Institute is guaranteed. Your commitment to learn and invent yourself as a certifi ed nutrition counselor or health coach is the only pre-requisite you need. IMNI will fully support you to succeed academically to achieve your goal. As part of the admission process, you will have a phone consultation with the Institute’s president, Dr. Michael Wald, so that he canpersonally guide you in designing the program and course work appropriate to your learning needs and goals.

TUITION
The full tuition for 60 credits of course work needed to complete and receive your Certifi ed Nutrition
Counselor or Certifi ed Health Coach degree is $5,000.00. Your tuition includes:

  • All of your 60 course work and credits needed to complete your certifi cation
  •  Any additional course work you choose to study beyond the 60 credit requirement
  •  An iPod, fully loaded with your course work in MP3 format
  •  All course text books written by Dr. Wald
  •  A free 90-day trial of Dr. Wald’s Blood Logic Nutritional Laboratory
  • Interpretation Software (Professional Edition)
  • A $900 discount on the purchase of the Blood Logic Nutritional Laboratory
  • Interpretation Software (Professional Edition) if you decide to purchase the software for
  • your on-going use in clinical practice.
  •  A clinical internship opportunity with Dr. Wald at Integrated Medicine of Mount Kisco
  •  Personalized coaching and support throughout your program

Your tuition does not include the following materials which you will need and be responsible for obtaining
for the program:
  • Access to a computer for receiving e-mails, downloading MP3’s or PowerPoint course materials and downloading/submitting course exams.
  • Text books that are required for certain courses, other than those written by Dr. Wald, Text book fees are estimated to cost between $100 and $300 for the entire program, depending on the courses you select.

The program offered by IMNI is tremendous value! You will find that our tuition is a fraction of the cost of traditional nutrition certification programs and very competitive with other online nutrition certifi cation offerings. INDIVIDUALIZED LEARNING MODULES
Each course offered by IMNI is assigned a number of credits depending on its length, content and complexity. You are required to complete a total of 60 course credits in order to receive your certifi cation. There are several “Foundations” courses that are required for graduation because their content forms the foundation of your nutrition and health counseling. In addition to the required courses, you have the fl exibility to choose your other courses to complete your 60 credits, and may even take courses beyond our required curriculum.

AUDIO COURSES/POWERPOINT PRESENTATIONS
Courses are available as audio and/or text. Examinations are required for each course with a passing grade of 70%. You may take any examination as many times as you need to pass — and, we are here to help you with questions at any time!
You will receive an iPod with all of your chosen courses included or we may send you courses separately via e-mail, flash drive or CD as necessary. Detailed PowerPoint versions are provided for some courses. Additionally, certain books may be assigned as required reading or reference for some courses.

DESIGN YOUR PROGRAM
You are free to design the exact program that you want based on what interests you in the areas of nutrition and health counseling. We are here to assist you in planning and designing which courses are most suitable to your goals. You can choose between a diploma as a Certifi ed Nutrition Counselor or a Certified Health Coach.

PASSING REQUIREMENTS
At the completion of each course module, you will be required to take an exam for that course to demonstrate competency and a grasp of the material presented in the course. Exams may be submitted online or by mail, and will be graded in a timely fashion. A minimum grade of 75% is required to receive credit for passing the course. A student may re-take the exam as many times as needed in order to learn and achieve competency in the course material.

COMPLETION REQUIREMENTS
You have two years (twenty-four calendar months) from the date of your official enrollment to complete your curriculum at The Integrated Medicine & Nutritional Institute. You will develop your own schedule and we encourage you to be creative in fi tting your new and exciting career studies into your life in the least stressful way possible. The average student may spend approximately five to fi fteen hours per week on their chosen course work, and my complete the program in  anywhere between six months and two years. Take your education with you in your car, on your commute, to the library, in your home — anywhere and any way that works for you!

UPON GRADUATION
Once you’ve earned your Nutrition Counselor or Health Coach certification, you will receive a beautiful diploma  demonstrating that you graduated from the accredited Integrated Medicine & Nutritional Institute. By graduating from our accredited program, you are eligible to apply to be a board certifi ed Holistic health Practitioner through the American Association of Drugless Practitioners and/or its affiliate American Alternative Medical Association. This professional affi liation will demonstrate that you’re accepted by the community of like-minded learning institutions and natural health practitioners who share this accreditation. The requirements for each individual state for the practice of nutritional counseling vary, so we encourage you to contact your state board of professional licensing for more information and to confirm that your certifi cation through IMNI’s program and AADP are acceptable for nutrition practice in your
state. Many states do not have established education requirements for the practice of health counseling.
